Gregory Lip

Biography

Prof Lip is Price-Evans Chair of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Liverpool, UK. He is also director of the Liverpool Centre for Cardiovascular Science at the University of Liverpool and Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital. He is also Distinguished Professor at Aalborg University, Denmark; and Adjunct Professor, Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. He is also Visiting Professor at the University of Aston in Birmingham, England; Adjunct Professor of Cardiovascular Sciences, Aalborg University, Denmark; and Visiting Professor of Cardiology, Belgrade University, Serbia.

Prof Lip is a member of the European Heart Rhythm Association and is Chairman of its scientific documents committee. He  serves on the board of the Working Group on Thrombosis of the European Society of Cardiology. He was clinical adviser for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidelines on AF management.
